C.T. Studd was a star England cricketer in the 1880s who left it all to carry the gospel to China, India and Africa. He gave away his inheritance to ministry and the poor and lived by faith for the rest of his life. These two lines are the words most tied to his name, and they have challenged believers for more than a century: our time here is short, and only what we give to Jesus will last.
The back carries the couplet around an hourglass whose last grains are running out and whose lower bulb holds the cross. The front has a small matching mark on the left chest. It is a daily reminder to spend your one life on what matters forever, and an easy way to start a conversation about Him.
